The Lookout is a 5 Star Plus Rating! First Class Vacation Home Rental for our family. Would highly recommend for anyone considering. I will certainly be looking for future stays here. Plenty of room and space throughout the house for all ages. This place has everything you need in a home away from home. The accommodations and service from the host was off the charts. You can't beat the view and scenery of the lake!

The Lookout was the perfect spot for our family getaway - so great for all ages! When we weren’t out running around the lake, we had the most comfortable place to kick back, enjoy meals, and spend meaningful family time together. The kids especially loved the basement area with the TV, games, and plenty to keep them entertained. The space was spotless and so well thought out. As annual visitors to the area, we’re so glad we found this gem and can’t wait to return!

We were in town for a memorial service and decided to rent a house vs get multiple hotel rooms. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures. It's right across the street from the lake. The hosts were very accommodating and let us sit on their dock area and let our kids use their lilypad to have fun in the lake. The house had everthing we needed. The basement has 2 sets of bunkbeds which was perfect for our 4 kids. The basement became a beloved hangout for them as they loved the basketball nets, Foosball and giant tv. They had tons of space. The first floor bedroom was great for my parents age 80. There are 3 large bedrooms upstairs plus another tv sitting room with large couch and another bed. So many places to sleep. The entire house is decorated beautifully. We rented the golf cart and really enjoyed the fresh air while touring around the lake. At night, we used the firepit and enjoyed looking at the stars which we don't get to see much of being from the Chicago area. I highly recommend this house and we were sad to leave. Our hosts really made sure we enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much! We will always have fond memories of our stay.
